Do I Have Depression?

    There are several types of depression under the current guidelines used to diagnose mental illness. Each of these types have subtle differences and are known by various names including clinical depression, bipolar disorder, chronic depression, dysthymia, mild or severe depressive mood disorder, and major depression, unipolar disorder, endogenous depression, perinatal depression including prenatal and postpartum depression, endogenous seasonal affective disorder (SAD), agitated depression and not to mention other associated conditions such as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and situational depression.

The end result is the same. The good news is that depression is curable however, depression can and often will affect every aspect of your life if left untreated.
